Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar


  • 3 eggs


  • 1 cup canola oil


  • 2 orange zest


  • 1 cup orange juice


  • 2 cup all purpose flour


  • 2 teaspoon baking soda


  • 1 teaspoon sprig vanilla essence

Directions

  • Pre - heat the oven 160°C .
  • Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with granulated sugar to prevent sticking yo the sides .
  • In a bowl , whisk together , eggs , granulated sugar , oil , vanilla essence , orange zest and orange juice until incorporated .
  • In another bowl mix flour , baking powder and mix well then add this dry ingredients to wet mixture until combined . Then add chopped dry fruits and mix well .
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the cake is golden in colour and tooth picks comes out clean is golden in colour and tooth picks comes out clean when it is inserted .
  • To finish the cake brush with orange juice , this will keep the cake moist , then dust with powder sugar .
  • Cut into the slices and serve 😘😘
