  • Whole wheat flour- 2cups

  • Curd- 1/2cup

  • Sun flower oil- 1/2cup

  • Milk- 1cup

  • powdered Sugar- 1 cup 1/4cup

  • Salt- 1/8tsp

  • Baking powder- 2tsp

  • Baking soda- 1tsp

  • Vanilla extract- 2tsp

  • Chocolate powder- 3tbsp


  • Preheat the oven for 10 mins in 200 degree Celsius
  • Grease a baking tin and line with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl add whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda and salt and shift twice
  • In another bowl add curd and powdered sugar and beat properly.
  • Then add oil to it and beat again
  • Now add half cup of milk and beat
  • Here we will add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in two batches. Also we will add 1/4cup of milk.
  • Now the batter is ready
  • Bring out 1/3rd of the batter to another bowl. To that add coco powder and rest of the milk. mix properly without lumps.
  • Bring the cake tin and start adding the batter. First add the white batter and then add the chocolate batter finishing everything
  • Tap twice on the platform
  • Now bake it for 35 to 45 mins in 180 degree Celsius or until the skewer comes out clean.
