  • 1 cup maida

  • 3/4 cup curd

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup strawberry or mix fruit jam

  • 1 tsp sprig vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 2 drop red food colour


  • Preheat oven at 180° for 5 minutes
  • Grease baking tray and line with butter paper
  • Sieve dry ingredients
  • Mix sugar and curd till creamy
  • Add vanilla essence and mix
  • Add dry ingredients and mix it
  • Take one spoon batter in another bowl and mix red food colour
  • Pour this red batter with cone or spoon in dot shape on the baking tray
  • Keep this tray in fridge for 5 minutes
  • After 5 minutes take out the tray and pour all batter and bake it for 10 minutes
  • After 10 minutes demould the cake on kitchen towel or on butter paper
  • Once again flip the cake and roll it along with butter paper in form of log
  • After 5 minutes open the rolled log and apply jam evenly over it
  • Roll it again tightly and keep it in fridge for 10 minutes to set
  • After 10 minutes take it out and cut in slices and enjoy the cake
