Ingredients

  • 1 packet strawberry cake mix

  • 1⅓ cup guava juice

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil room temperature

  • For the cheese layer- 8 oz cream cheese

  • ⅓ of 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 8 Oz cool Whip thawed

  • For guava gel topping- 2 cup guava juice

  • half of 1 cup sugar

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 3 tbsp water

Directions

    in a mixing bowl mix cake mix, guava juice, coconut oil and eggs ,well combined

  • 02

    Bake it in the baking dish according to the directions given on the cake mix package

    in a mixing bowl beat cream cheese with hand mixer until fluffy

  • 04

    add sugar and Vanilla extract and mix well

  • 05

    slowly fold in the cool whip and refrigrate until ready to use

    heat up a pan and add 2 cups of guava juice and sugar , bring to boil

  • 07

    Make a slurry out of the cornstarch and a small amount of water

  • 08

    remove guava juice from the heat and stir in the cornstarch mixture

  • 09

    again return to heat and give one boil for 1 minute cool in refrigerator

  • 10

    Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake

  • 11

    Glaze the top of the cake with guava gel refrigrate until ready to serve
