Eggless Colourful Swiss Roll Cake

  • All purpose flour 1 cup

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Butter 1/2 cup

  • Condensed milk 1/2 cup

  • Baking powder 1 tbs

  • Sprig vanilla essence 1 tbs

  • Melted chocolate 1/2 cup

  • Organic liquid food color yellow and green 1 drop

  • Milk 1/2 cup


  • Sieve the flour , baking powder together twice.
  • Mix sugar , melted butter and condensed milk together and whisk very well. Combine together and pour milk spoon by spoon to make a perfect bater. Divide the bater into two portion, in one portion add yellow color, green color in another part.
  • Preheat the pan for 10 minutes. Next grease the tin with oil and dust flour.
  • Place the bater by spreading yellow color then spreading of green colour , repeat alternatively, making a thin layer and next tap twice. Then carefully place the tin and bake the cake for 25 minutes. When its done check with toothpick then demould and instantly place the swiss roll on clean kithen towel and roll it. Allow the roll to cool down completely.
  • Now unroll the cake and apply layer of melted chocolate evenly. Now roll the cake with cling and and keep it in a fridge for setting.
  • After 2 hour the cake is ready. Unroll the cling layer and cut the uneven sides. Slice into pieces and your swiss roll is ready to eat.
