Eggless Chocolate Swiss roll cake

  • 1 cup maida

  • 3/4 cup curd

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp sprig natural bourbon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 cup whipped cream


  • Preheat oven at 180°
  • Grease baking tray and line it with butter paper
  • Sieve dry ingredients
  • Mix sugar and curd till creamy
  • Add vanilla essence and dry ingredients and mix it
  • Pour this batter in tray and bake it for 10 minutes
  • Take it out and demould it on kitchen towel or butter paper
  • Roll it carefully and let it rest for 5 minutes like this
  • After 5 minutes open the roll and spread whipped cream on it and roll it again and wrap it with butter paper and keep it in fridge for 20 minutes to set
  • After 20 minutes take it out and cut in slices
  • Lets enjoy the chocolate roll cake
