  • 1 cup Atta (whole wheat flour)

  • 1 cup maida (plain flour)

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda

  • 1 tsp. baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2 tbsp. custard powder

  • 6 plums, pureed

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 1 tsp. vanilla essence


  • In a bowl, mix together atta, maida, oats, sugar, salt, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Now add the eggs, butter, vanilla essence and the puree. Combine everything well.
  • Place the muffin liners on the muffin tray and spoon the batter in it. Fill only 3/4 of the muffin liners. (In the absence of the liners, spoon the batter into greased muffin tray).
  • Place the tray on the lower rack of a preheated microwave oven and bake in the convection mode at 190 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
  • The top must be brown and do the toothpick test to ensure it is done. Cool them on a wire rack for 15-20 minutes.
  • Enjoy on its own, with your evening cup of tea / coffee or as a dessert with a drizzle of some fresh cream / rabri.
