Whole wheat flour 2cups
Powdered sugar 1 cup
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
Coco powder 2 tablespoon
Sprig vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Unsalted butter 2 tablespoon
Warm milk 1 cup
Salt 1/8 teaspoon
Cream 1/2 cup
Chocolate sprinkles 2 tablespoon
Dark compound 150 grams
Colourful candies 1/2 cup
First of all add butter and sugar in a bowl and beat till it becomes light and fluffy.
Now seieve dry ingredients twice and keep aside.
Start adding butter mixture with milk in seived dry ingredients. Mix in 3 batches.
Use cut and fold method to ready cake batter.
Preheat oven for 10 minutes. Bake the cake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Do toothpick test to check the cake. If it comes out clean, it means cake is ready.
Now keep it aside to cool completely.
After 2 hours , melt dark compound in microwave. Now add cream and chocolate sprinklers in it too. mix nicely.
Now hollow upper middle side of the cake with the help of a bowl, as shown in figure
Now pour ready chocolate mixture generously on cake , so that cake look like a nest.
Keep ready nest cake in refrigerator for half an hour. while serving add colourful candies in cake's top to show as bird's eggs. ( refer image)
Yummy and delectable nest cake is ready to serve.
It can be show stopper of any party.
