Milk 1 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Custard powder 1 tablespoon
Sprig Natural Bourbon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Condensed milk 1 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Mix dry fruits and poppy seeds 1tablespoon
To make pudding cake, first take a bowl, add milk, custard powder, yogurt, sprig vanilla extract, condensed milk and mix nicely. keep it aside.
To make caramel, Heat a non-stick pan on high and cook till the sugar darkens and turn into a caramel. Dont stir the pan, swirl the pan and switch off flame.
Pour half of this caramelised mixture at the bottom of cake mould and on top pour mixed milk mixture. In remaining half caramel mixture add dry fruits and roll it to make log shape chikki.
Now keep cake mould in microwave and bake for 15 minutes.
Do toothpick test to find out, whether pudding cake is ready or not.While it is done we can see mixture shakes in mould but still stay together firm.
Remove pudding cake from mould carefully and let it come on room temperature.
Now transfer pudding cake on remaining caramel layered serving plate and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
