Ingredients

Serves : 9
  • 2 cup maida


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 3/4 cup curd


  • 3/4 cup oil


  • 1 tsp sprig vanilla essence


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 2 tbsp dessicated coconut


  • 2 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 cup water


  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam


  • 3 tbsp honey

Directions

  • Preheat oven at 180°
  • Grease rectangular mould
  • Mix oil,curd,sugar and sprig vanilla essence till it combine
  • Sieve maida,baking soda and baking powder and mix in curd batter by cut and fold method
  • Don't over mix it
  • Transfer batter in mould and bake it for 40°
  • Cool it on wire rack
  • When cooled down prick it with needle
  • In a pan take 2 tbsp sugar and half cup water and heat it till sygar dissolve and become sticky
  • Let it slightly coil down than add 2 tbsp honey and mix it
  • Apply this mux on the cake as it absorb completely
  • In a pan take jam and add one spoon honey and mix it do not over heat
  • Apply this on the cake and sprinkle coconut on it and cut in pieces
