Coconut Laddoo Cake

Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1½ cup all purpose flour


  • 1¼ cup powdered sugar


  • 1¼ cup grated coconut


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 2 tbsp melted butter


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 3 eggs


  • 6 tbsp milk


  • For icing - 1 cup heavy chilled cream


  • 2 tbsp icing sugar


  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract


  • For Laddoos- 1½ cup grated coconut


  • 6 tbsp condensed milk


  • 2-3 strawberry for decoration

Directions

  • Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius
  • sift the flour, baking powder and salt
  • Mix butter, powdered sugar and coconut with milk ,mix well using a blender
  • Now add flour in part and make a smooth batter
  • bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until the knife inserted in center and comes out clean
  • let it cool for 10 minutes
  • now prepare icing combine all ingredients and beat until the cream holds soft peaks
  • After this make Laddoos , heat up a karahi add condensed milk and grated coconut
  • cook on slow heat while stirring consistency
  • cook the mixture until the mixture start leaving the sides of the kadai
  • then make small Laddoos of it
  • when the cake becomes completely cool then put icing on all sides of the cake and spread the grated coconut on all over the cake
  • cut the strawberries and place at the centre of the cake and decorate it with grated chocolate
