Ingredients

Serves : 14
  • 2 cup whole wheat flour


  • 1 cup jaggery


  • 3/4 cup oil


  • 1 cup curd


  • 11/2 tsp baking soda


  • 11/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder


  • 1 tsp sprig vanilla essence


  • 1 tbsp chopped dates


  • 1 tbsp fig


  • 1 tbsp raisins


  • 1 tbsp tuttifrutti


  • 2 tbsp chopped badam and kaju


  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Directions

  • Soak fig,dates,raisins and tuttifrutti in orange juice
  • Butterline the baking tray
  • Preheat oven at 160°
  • Add dry ingredients..whole wheat flour,baking powder,baking soda and mix it
  • Whisk curd and add oil in it
  • Microwave jaggery at high temperature for 30 sec for melting
  • Add soak fruit in flour mixture and mix it nicely
  • Add melted jaggery in the curd mixture and mix it nicely
  • Add flour mixture in curd jaggery mixture in batches
  • Transfer the batter in the prepared tray and sprinkle chopped nuts and bake it for 20 minutes at 160°
  • Cool it on wire rack and cut in desire shape and enjoy
