Sieve the dry ingredients maida, baking powder and sweet soda.
Add a pinch of salt, powdered sugar and desiccated coconut to it.
Mix well and keep aside.
To a bowl first add malai and then little milk and mix well.
To this keep adding the maida mixture kept aside.
Also along with the maida add milk in small quantities at the same time.
Mix nicely so that there are no lumps.
Add vanilla essence and mix again.
The cake batter is ready.
Bake for 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 deg. C
Demould the cake when it cools down.
Slit off the edges.
Dice the cake to big cubical pieces.
Keep these pieces in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes.
In the mean time we will prepare the chocolate ganache.
For Ganache in a bowl add 4 tbsp butter,1/4 cup milk,4 tbsp cocoa powder and 4-6 tbsp powdered sugar
keep water for boiling in a pan.
Now put this glass bowl over the bowl with water boiling over the flame.
Stir continuously till a smooth mixture is obtained.
Chocolate Ganache is ready now.
Take out the cake cubes from the refrigerator.
In a bowl take some desiccated coconut.
Dip each cake piece in chocolate ganache and then coat it with coconut.
Keep these in the refrigerator again for about half an hour.
