First mix luke warm milk with lemon juice for 5 mins and keep aside
Sieve all the dry ingredients 3 times.
Beat butter and sugar till fluffy, then add red food colour in it and mix it up well.
Now add the sieved dry ingredients and butter and the milk and mix well.
Now take a greased and dusted cake mould and transfer the batter in it.
Keep it inside the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
Check with a toothpick if it comes clean
Once baked, demould it and let it cool.
Once cooled, cut it into half horizontally.
Now whip the cream till soft peaks appear.add
Icing sugar and whip it well for 4-5 mins..
Spread whipped cream all over and place the other half..cover the cake with whipped cream
Decorate the centre and sides with the cake crumbs, your Red Velvet Cake is ready.
Serve.
