  • maida-1 cup

  • powdered sugar-1 cup

  • Butter-100 gm

  • Baking powder-1 tsp

  • Baking soda-1/2 tsp

  • vanilla Extract-1 tsp

  • salt-1/2 tsp

  • Butter milk-1/2 cup

  • chopped Raisin, Black Raisin, dates,figs,dried cranberries, glazed cherry- 1/2cup

  • orange zest-2 tsp

  • chopped pistachios, walnuts, Almonds-1/2 cup

  • spice powder-1 tsp

  • milk-1/2 cup

    in a bowl soak dry fruits in hot milk for 10 min.

    After 10 minutes in a mixing bowl take soaked dry fruits and chopped nuts.mix very well.grease a cake pan and pre heat the oven@ 180 ° for 45 an another bowl add butter milk, melted butter,suger, vanilla extract stir and let the sugar melt.sieve the flour, baking soda, baking powder,salt and mix well.add the soaked dry fruits,nuts and orange zest and gently fold by cut and fold method.

    pour the batter into the greased pan and tap the pan 2-3 times to release the air bubbles.garnish with dry fruits and nuts.Bake for 50-60 minutes until a thooth pick inserted comes out clearly. Remove from oven,let it cool,cut and serve.
