Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 3/4th Cup curd

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3/4th Cup oil

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 2 Cup plain flour

  • 1/4th tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/4th Cup 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1/2 cup fruit jam

  • 1/4th Cup water

  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut

Directions

    take curd, sugar, oil and Vanilla extract and whisk for 5 minutes and combined well.

    Sift plain flour, baking soda and baking powder into it. Mix well by cut and fold method. Do not over mix.

    add milk if required and make a lump free smooth better.

    transfer it into a greased cake tray. Pat twice.

    preheat and bake at 180 degree c for 40 minutes.

    cool completely and prick and make holes. keep aside.

    on the other hand take a pan and add 2 tbsp sugar and 1/4th Cup water. dissolve the sugar bowl for 2 minutes for sticky, cool completely, at 1/4th Cup Honey into it and mix well, pour this Honey syrup generously on to the cake.

    Now, take 1/2 of fruit jam, 1 tablespoon honey and mix well until the jam melts well. do not overheat .

    spread this honey jam mixture on to the cake and make a thick layer.

    spread from desiccated coconut for garnishing.
