Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 3/4 cup curd (at room temperature )


  • 1/4 cup oil


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence


  • 3-4 drops of red food colour


  • 3-4 drops of orange food colour


  • 3-4 drops of green food colour


  • 3-4 drops of yellow food colour


  • 1 round baking tin

Directions

  • Preheat oven for 10 min at 180°
  • Grease the baking tin and dust with flour
  • Sieve the dry ingredients
  • Whisk curd and sugar till creamy and sugar dissolve completely
  • Add vanilla essence and mix
  • Add dry ingredients in batches and mix it in fold method
  • Add oil and mix it
  • Divide the batter in four equal quantity
  • In every bowl add the colours
  • Put one full spoon of yellow batter on side of the baking disc
  • Than carry on with the simultaneous colour one by one
  • With help of knife make the pattern and slightly tap it
  • Bake in oven for 25-30 mins at 180°
  • Check it by inserting toothpick if it comes out clear its means that cake is done
  • Take it out from oven and cool it on the wire rack
