Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 1/2 cup milk


  • 2/2 cup oats


  • 1 cup plain flour


  • 1/2 cup oil


  • 1/2 cup dates


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


  • 1:8 tsp salt


  • 1/4 cup chopped dry fruit


  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Directions

  • Firstly Soak the pitted dates in milk for around 2 hours until it becomes soft. Blend this to a smooth paste.
  • Add oil, vanilla essence and sugar in dates paste and mix well.
  • Sieve wheat flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Now mix all dry ingredients in dates paste, mix gently. If you want you can add some dry food in mixture.
  • Transfer it to a prepared baking loaf tin and put some dry fruit on the mixture.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 35-40 mins
  • Let it cool completely before slicing.
