  • 1/2 cup pasta

  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

  • 2 cup water or as needed

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp onion and garlic powder

  • 1/8 tsp citric acid or dry mango powder

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 5 cups oil for deep frying


  • First boil water and add salt. Cook pasta untill soft or 75-80% cooked. Do not over cook them or cook completely.
  • Drain the water completely. Spread them on a plate and allow them to dry completely.
  • Meanwhile in a bowl add all masalas(including citric acid if using) and mix well.
  • Once pasta is dry, Heat oil in a pan or kadai on high flame. Fry pasta ij batches until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Immediately sprinkle prepared masala and oregano. toss well.
  • Store it in a air tight container and serve with masala chai or have it for some evening snacks. Enjoy 🤗
