Ingredients
Serves 4
prawns 1/2 kgs
Green Chilly 2 nos
ginger 1 piece
Shallot 10 nos
garlic 3 nos
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Coconut oil 2 tbsp
tomato 1 nos
Pepper powder 1 tsp
turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
coriander powder 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1 tbsp
Salt to taste 2-3 tsp
Directions
Marinate the prawns in these ingredients for 20 minutes chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and salt.
Make a paste from these ingredients shallots, green chilly, ginger and garlic.
Once the clay pot / manchatti becomes hot, add oil, add the paste, saute till the raw smell goes off.
Once the gravy starts to boil add chopped tomato.
Next, add the marinated prawns.
Cook the prawns on low flame for few minutes, till the prawn tenders.
Once well-cooked turn off the flame, sprinkle freshly crushed pepper and season with a tablespoon of coconut oil.
