Makhana is also known as Lotus seeds or Foxnut or Gorgon nut, healthy and nutritious rich in protein, V B and dietary minerals. Popped makhana is called as Pool Makhana and used in making a variety of dishes. Makhana kheer, Makhana raita, laddu etc.
In this recipe, I have roasted Pool makhana in Ghee and tossed with Honey. It tastes amazing.

Makhana/Lotus seeds/Foxnuts – 1 cup
Ghee – 1/2 tablespoon
Honey – 1- 1 1/2 tablespoon
Directions
In a nonstick pan, heat ghee. Add makhana. Roast it until crisp and crunchy. It will take 8-9 minutes for roasting on a low flame.
