Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gms mutton


  • 250 gms chopped onion


  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 8-10 nos whole red chilly


  • 1 tbsp whole coriander seeds


  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 4-5 nos whole black pepper


  • 4 nos cloves


  • 1 piece mace


  • 1 nos black cardamom


  • 1 nos green cardamom


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 1 cups curd


  • 1 tsp kashmiri mirch


  • 1 cups mustard oil


  • 1 pinch salt - to taste

Directions

  • Soak whole red chilly in a cup of water and grind it.
  • Dry roast whole coriander seeds,cumin seeds,cinnamon,black cardamom,green cardamom,mace,cloves and blend it.
  • Heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add chopped onion and saute for 4 - 5 mins.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and roasted spices and mix well.
  • Add curd and saute for 3 - 4 mins..
  • Add mutton pieces and salt an d mix well.
  • Add kashmiri mirch and one cup of water.
  • Cover the lid and pressure cook for 10 mins.
  • Serve with rice or chapati.
