Fig is popularly known as Anjeer, is a delicious pulpy fruit belongs to the Mulberry Family. They are mainly consumed in dried form than fresh. Fresh figs are extensively used in milkshakes, salads, gravies, desserts, jams etc.
They are a nutritious and very good source of fibers, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Proper peeling is highly recommended while making Fig or anjeer milkshake else it will give a bitter taste. Always use fresh ripe purple color fruit.
In this recipe, I have used peeled anjeer, soaked cashew nuts, subja and toasted oats which have given a smoothie a rich texture and taste. An extremely healthy and fulfilling smoothie is quick and requires quite a few ingredients.
