  • 1 cups jowar flour

  • 2 tbsp rice flour

  • 1/4 cups hot water

  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • Take jawar flour, rice flour in a deep plate, to that add salt to taste.
  • Add hot boiling water and mix well. KNead to a soft dough and keep aside for 2 minutes.
  • Dust dry flour over rolling board and start to pat it to flatten it in to round bhakri using hands.
  • Heat tawa, place bhakri and apply some water on top of the bhakari.
  • Roast it just till the time water starts to evaporate from the top side of bhakri.
  • On high flame flip the bhakri and cook from other side for just 2 minutes.
  • Finaly roast it on direct gas heat from both the sides and serve hot.
