Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Mutton 250 gms

  • Rice 1/2 kgs

  • Oil or ghee 5 tbsp

  • Onion sliced two 1 nos

  • green chillies 6-7 nos

  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp

  • Cinnamon stick 2 nos

  • Safed ilaichi 3 nos

  • Badi ilaichi 2 nos

  • Kali mirc 10 nos

  • Loung 5 nos

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

  • Garam masala powder 2 tsp

  • Milk 2 tsp

  • Kesar or yellow color 1 pinch

  • Salt according to your taste 1 pinch

  • For yaknee: Bay leaf 4 nos

  • garlic 1 nos

  • onion 1 nos

  • Fennel seeds 2 tsp

  • Coriander seeds 2 tsp

  • Plane piece of clothe 1 nos

Directions

    take a square shape of cloth put coriander seeds and fennel seeds in it and tie in a potly.

    For yaknee- in a pressure cooker add mutton water and all yaknee ingredients cover the lid and cooked till 5 to 6 whistle

  • 03

    after that open a lid and keep a side.

  • 04

    For pualo-- heat ghee in a big pot add cumin seeds sliced onion and ginger garlic paste saute till its change in color.

    add all dry spices sauted till ghee comes from sides.

    now add mutton from pressure cooker sauted and stir continuously.

    now add yaknee water ( if two cup rice than 4 cup water )

    when its come to boiled add rice

  • 09

    cover the lid and leave it for steam..

  • 10

    open the lid if rice fully cooked then off the flame .

    in a cup add two spon milk few kesar strand and pour it on a pulao.

  • 12

    serve hot with side dish kabab or curd

  • 13

    Ps- remove garlic and potly from yaknee...
