wash peel and dry karele then make a cut and apply little turmeric powder and salt over it (it removes bitterness of karele).
cut the onions and fry them in oil after adding cumin and fennel seeds in it.
when it cools grind them in mixer along with ginger garlic.
add all the masalas and salt in it.
fill in the karelas tie a thread (and potatoes too) so that filling dosent come out as it takes time to cook karela.
let it cook for 18-20minutes.delicious vegetable ready to be served.
