Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/4 kgs karele


  • 8 nos potato


  • 4 nos onion


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic


  • 2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 3 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 1/2 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp oil as desired


  • 1 tsp garam masala

Directions

  • wash peel and dry karele then make a cut and apply little turmeric powder and salt over it (it removes bitterness of karele).
  • cut the onions and fry them in oil after adding cumin and fennel seeds in it.
  • when it cools grind them in mixer along with ginger garlic.
  • add all the masalas and salt in it.
  • fill in the karelas tie a thread (and potatoes too) so that filling dosent come out as it takes time to cook karela.
  • let it cook for 18-20minutes.delicious vegetable ready to be served.
