  • English Muffins (buns) 4 nos

  • eggs 4 nos

  • salted butter 3 tbsp

  • Hollandaise sauce (optional) 1 tsp

  • Salt to taste 1 pinch

  • Black pepper powder for sprinkle 1 pinch

  • Paprika for sprinkle 1 pinch

  • Oregano for sprinkle 1 pinch

  • Some roughly chopped basil leaves 2 tbsp

    Whenever I m alone at home so I like to cook egg recipes for quick bites. Eggs are the most cheaply available foods which are also a fast to cook dish. Today I prepared  Eggs Benedict, This also informally known as Eggs Benny, is a traditional American breakfast or brunch dish that consists of two halves of an English muffin each of which is topped with Canadian bacon, ham or sometimes fruits like apple, avocado,  a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. The dish was first popularized in New York City. If u don't know how to cook hollandaise sauce so u can prick poached egg.

    Apply butter on each one side of english muffins.

    Heat some butter on a nonstick pan. Place the disks n shallow fry till it toast. Transfer it to a plate.

    Heat sufficient water on a nonstick pan. Break eggs one by one in it and let them poach. Takeout and drain on absorbent paper.

    Place the english muffins on a serving plate. Place some slices of apple and a poached egg on each and prick it with fork or you can top some hollandaise sauce on it.

    Sprinkle salt, paprika, black pepper powder, oregano and basil leaves and Serve.
