Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1/2 cups mix dry fruits


  • 1/2 cups mawa or dried milk


  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 1/2 cups shredded coconut

Directions

  • Mix the dry fruits like cashew nuts, almond, raisins, pistachio and any other dry fruits.
  • Grind all the dry fruits. Make coarse powder.
  • Mix shredded coconut, mawa/khoya or dried milk and sugar. Grind them into a smooth paste.
  • Take out into a large bowl. Add cardamom powder and ground dry fruits. Mix well.
  • If you feel mixture is little loose and difficult to hold shape, keep the mixture in refrigerator for 1/2 an hour.
  • Now make the shape of modak with your hands or mould.
