One of the traditional digestive drink which we usually have after a dinner. This drink or tea is prepared using dried kokum, Garlic, ginger, Chili, and some spices. It helps in digestion and reduces bloating. Thanks to my sister in law who taught me this wonderful recipe.

Ingredients
Serves : 4
4-5 nos kokum pieces (dried)
1 tbsp jaggery (adjust as per your preference)
1/2 tsp coarsely ground black peppercorns
1/2 tsp asafoetida
4 nos garlic cloves
1/2 nos green chilli (roughly chopped spicy or medium hot)
1 tsp ginger thinly sliced
2 cups water
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
Directions
Soak kokum in a 1/4 cup of water for 10-15 minutes.
In a saucepan heat water. Add all the above ingredients except coriander leaves.
