  • 200 gms ragi vermicelli


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 cups grated coconut


  • 1 cups water

Directions

  • Put Ragi Vermicelli And Salt For Taste In A Vessel Springle Some Water And Mix The Ingredients Thoroughly With Hand . While Mixing Add Water In Small Quantity And Use Approx Half Cup Of Water And Check Whether The Mixture Will Become A Ball When Pressed. And Kept It For 15 Minutes . After 5 Minutes Check Whether The Mixture Is In Same Condition , If Not Add Some More Water And Mix Thoroughly.
  • Put Some Grated Coconut In A Steamed Cylinder ( In Malayalam Known As Puttu Kutti) And Fill Wet Ragi Vermicelli , When Filled Half Put Some More Coconut And Fill The Remaining Portion Also And Put Coconut On Top . Steam It For 3-4 Minutes . The Ragi Vermicelli Puttu Is Ready , It Can Be Served With Channa Masala Or Green Gram Curry.
