One of our traditional drink which we used to drink especially in the summer season post-dinner or lunch. In Maharashtra, sweet basil seeds are popularly known as “SABJA” and used in many desserts, especially in falooda and milkshakes. These seeds are rich in protein, carbs, and fibers. They are usually soaked in water before using in any recipe or consumption. They help in weight loss, reduces body temperature, controls blood sugar level, helps in acidity, bloating, heartburn, very good for skin and hair, cures a cough.

Ingredients
Serves : 3
2 cups chilled milk (chilled)
4-5 tbsp sugar (adjust as per your preference).
1/4 tsp vanilla essence cardamom powder a pinch.
2 tsp sweet basil seeds / sabja seeds (soaked in 1/4 cup of water for 8-10 minutes).
2-3 nos ice cubes (optional)
2-3 nos garnishing :grapes
Directions
In a blender add sugar, milk, vanilla essence or cardamom powder. Blend well.
Remove it in a bowl. Add soaked and doubled basil seeds or sabja. Mix well.
Pour into glasses. Add ice. Garnish and Serve chilled.
