Description
God Pohe or Gud pohe is a traditional Maharashtrian and Goan recipe. In Goa it is called as a Godache Fov or Godde Fov means poha or flattened rice prepared using Gud or Jaggery. It is one of the varieties of the Fov or pohe prepared during Diwali festival. This dish requires minimum ingredients and lesser time to prepare tastes amazing. In this recipe, I have used brown flattened rice which can be replaced with white variety,

Ingredients
Serves 2
Brown or white Pohe or flattened rice 3/4 cups
Grated Jaggery 3 tbsp
Freshly grated coconut 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
For Garnishing : Grated coconut 1/2 tsp
grated jaggery 1/2 tsp
cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Directions
Take flattened rice or poha in a colander and wash it. Don’t soak it too long in the water. Drain the water completely. Keep aside for 10-12 minutes.
In a large bowl, take poha Add remaining ingredients. Mix gently.
Sprinkle some freshly grated coconut, jaggery on top and Serve.
