Soak all three dals together for 5-6hrs.
Take a mixi jar,add ginger,,red chillies ,and whole dhania ,and grind coarseLy.
To the above add the dals and grind.(pls note all extra water should be removed while grinding dal or the batter wil be thin.)
Remove the batter in a bowl,add salt and beat for two to three mins,add chopped onions ,,ull feel it becomes fluffy.
Now heat oil to fry....wet your hands and take batter on your hands as we do for dahi wadas.
Make wadas flat in shape and half fry them.(please note do not make them brown ).
Make wadas of the batter you have , and let them cool.
When you put the batter in oil to fry,,they swell and looks fluffy..this is how we come to know the batter is perfect.
Once they are cooled, take each piece and cut them into strips .
When you want to serve then,you can deep dry them again ,to golden brown in colour.
Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup. Happy Cooking
