Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 nos surmai fish ( cleaned ,washed and cut into pieces)


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp rice flour


  • 4 tsp coarse sooji


  • 3 tbsp water


  • 1 tbsp tamarind pulp

Directions

  • Take washed and dried fish in to a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, lemon juice , 1/2 tsp salt and turmeric powder . Apply it all over the fish . Keep it aside for 1-2 minutes.
  • MIx in rice flour, tamaring pulp, some salt and dip fish in it.
  • Take sooji in a plate , add some red chilly powder and mix. roll the fish gently in it.
  • Heat oil and shallow fry fish on medium flame .
  • Cook till it gets a golden color. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
