Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Surmai Fish ( Cleaned ,washed and cut into pieces) 1 nos

  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp

  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

  • salt 2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

  • Red Chilli powder 1 tsp

  • Rice Flour 2 tsp

  • Coarse Sooji 4 tsp

  • Water 3 tbsp

  • tamarind pulp 1 tbsp

Directions

    Take washed and dried fish in to a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, lemon juice , 1/2 tsp salt and turmeric powder . Apply it all over the fish . Keep it aside for 1-2 minutes.

    MIx in rice flour, tamaring pulp, some salt and dip fish in it.

    Take sooji in a plate , add some red chilly powder and mix. roll the fish gently in it.

    Heat oil and shallow fry fish on medium flame .

    Cook till it gets a golden color. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
