FRENCH EGG YOLK TOAST IN A MUG

Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 1 nos egg


  • 5 tbsp milk


  • 2 nos white bread cubed


  • 3 tbsp grated cheddar


  • 2 tbsp schezwan sauce


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

  • In a microwave safe mug , mix together egg white, milk and oil .
  • Add the bread cubed , schezwan sauce, cheddar , salt and pepper .
  • Let it stand for 5 minutes for the bread soak up the custard . Press it down so the bread is submerged within the liquid .
  • Now spread little bit of schezwan sauce and gently set the egg yolk on the top .
  • Microwave to roughly 1 1/2 - 2 minutes .
  • Serve straight away while still warm .
  • I suggest checking it after 1 minutes and go from there .
