Wash the fish and pat dry with kitchen towel.
In a bowl add all the ingredients except oil and make a smooth paste.
Rub the masala paste all over the fish and marinate it for sometime. the longer time the better.
In a pan heat the oil. Shallow fry the fish for 5-6 mins each on both sides in medium heat. Remove and serve as it is or onion, chilly and lemon slices.
