  • 1 cups grated sweet red pumpkin

  • 1/2 cups grated jaggery

  • 1/2 cups wheat flour

  • 1 tsp water to bind dough


  • In a pan add grated pumpkin. Saute in medium heat for 5 min.
  • Add jaggery. Stir till melt and mix well with the pumpkin. Add little water if required. Cook till pumpkin become soft Gooey.
  • When done take off the heat, let it cool little bit.
  • Then add flour. Mix and bind into a soft puri dough.
  • When done make small ball out of the dough. Flaten and make puri.
  • Put in hot oil. Press on top of the puri to make it puff.
  • Done. Serve hot Puris with milk, or chutneys to kids.
