Serves 1

  • grated sweet red Pumpkin 1 cups

  • grated jaggery 1/2 cups

  • wheat flour 1/2 cups

  • Water to bind dough 1 tsp

    In a pan add grated pumpkin. Saute in medium heat for 5 min.

    Add jaggery. Stir till melt and mix well with the pumpkin. Add little water if required. Cook till pumpkin become soft Gooey.

    When done take off the heat, let it cool little bit.

    Then add flour. Mix and bind into a soft puri dough.

    When done make small ball out of the dough. Flaten and make puri.

    Put in hot oil. Press on top of the puri to make it puff.

    Done. Serve hot Puris with milk, or chutneys to kids.
