Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed sprouts(moong chana matar moth)


  • 1 cups rice soaked and drained


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 2 nos green chilli chopped


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 2 tsp ginger paste


  • 1 nos onion sliced


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt as par taste


  • 5-6 nos french beans chopped


  • 2 nos medium carrot chopped


  • 1 nos green bell pepper chopped


  • 1 tsp biryani masala

Directions

  • Heat ghee in cooker and add cumin seeds, green chillis, cinnamon, ginger paste and onions.
  • Saute till onions are light brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, sprouts and mix well.
  • Add salt, 1/2 cup water stir to mix and cookfor 2-3 minutes.
  • Add beens, carrot and bell peppers. Mix well and add rice.
  • Mix well lightly. Add 2 cups water stir to mix and bring to a boil.
  • Add biryani masala and salt. Mix well.
  • Cover with lid and cook for 1-2 whistles. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7miniutes.
  • Serve hot with rayta.
