Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3-4 nos sticks of drumsticks


  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder


  • 1 tsp to taste salt


  • 1 litre water


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp rai


  • 1/2 tsp jeera


  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger garlic


  • 8-10 nos curry leaves


  • 1 nos chopped onion (medium sized)


  • 2 nos chopped tomatoes (medium sized)


  • 1/4 tsp haldi powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder


  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder


  • 1/2 tbsp sabji masala powder


  • 2-3 tbsp roasted groundnut powder

Directions

  • Add water in a pan. Add haldi powder, salt and drumsticks. Close with lid and allow to cook 80 %.
  • In other pan add oil and heat it.
  • Add rai and jeera. When splattered add ginger & garlic saute well.
  • Add curry leaves and saute well.
  • Add onions and saute until onion becomes soft.
  • Add tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add haldi powder, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, jeera powder & sabji masala powder and mix well.
  • Add boiled drumsticks and mix well.
  • Close with lid and cook for 3-4minutes on slow flame.
  • Add groundnut powder and mix well. Then cook for 3-4minutes on slow flame.
  • Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves & serve with roti or rice.
