Whosayna’s Baadam Sherbet

  • 1 ltr Milk 1 tin Evaporated Milk 1 tbsp Sabza/Takmaria/Sweet Basil Seeds Sugar (as required) 1/2 tsp Almond essence 1 tsp Rose or Ice Cream essence 1/4 cup Almonds (soaked in hot water and peel removed) 3 tbsp Vermicelli (boiled in water and strained) pinch of Red color 1 cup Fresh cream

    Soak sweet basil in 1/4 cup water and set aside. Blend milks, few ice cubes, cream, sugar, almonds and essence till all almonds are ground (can switch to powdering almonds first then blending all). Keep in a jug add sabza, sev and some slivered baadam with ice cubes, serve cold
