Large numbers of Almond varieties are available around the world. Almonds are extremely healthy and packed with vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber. They can be toasted, caramelized, or eaten as it is, available in sliced, flaked, slivered, flour, oil or milk form. They are used in many recipe preparations, cookies, cakes, muesli, granola bars, marzipan, desserts etc. It is one of the most versatile nuts in the world.

Ingredients

1 cups raw almonds
1 1/2 cups hot water
3/4 tbsp salt
Directions
Boil water in a saucepan. Add salt. Let it dissolve. Switch off the flame.
In a large bowl take almonds. Pour this water. Let them soak for 20-25 minutes.
Preheat oven at 160-degree C.
Drain water completely. Place them in a single layer on baking tray. Sprinkle some salt.
Bake almonds in a pre-heated oven for 14-18 minutes. Check-in intervals. Remove.
