Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 tbsp oil/butter


  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 1 nos medium sized chopped onion


  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 nos chopped green chilli


  • 2 nos medium sized chopped tomatoes


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/4 tsp paneer masala powder


  • 1 tsp salt as par taste


  • 200 gms grated paneer


  • 5-6 nos a few coriander leaves for garnishing


  • 1 tbsp processed cheese

Directions

  • Heat oil/butter in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds. When it splattered add onions.
  • When the onions became translucent add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli. Saute till the raw aroma of the ginger-garlic goes away.
  • Then add tomatoes and cook till they become soft.
  • Now add all the dry masala- turmeric, red chilli powder, paneer masala powder. Stir the spice powers.
  • Then add paneer & salt and let it cook for 1-2 minutes
  • Add few coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and grated cheese.
  • Serve paneer bhurji with roti or parantha.
