Description

Hare bhare kabab os an amazing delicacy to be enjoyed as starter or an appetizers. The recipes involves use of different kinds of green vegetables which makes it a very healthy starter. It is famous for its smooth texture and a distinctive taste. It is enjoyed with tomato catchup or green chutney.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tbsp ginger chopped


  • 2-3 nos green chilli chopped


  • 1 nos capsicum chopped


  • 1 1/2 cups green peas


  • 1 sprig guddy spinach


  • 8-10 nos mint leaves


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped


  • 1 tsp salt as par taste


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp chaat masala


  • 1 nos large boiled grated potato


  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs


  • 1 tbsp corn flour


  • 2 tbsp some bread crumbs for coating

Directions

  • Firstly blanch spinach leaves by boiling spinach for 2 minutes in water.
  • Squeeze off excess water and cut. Keep aside.
  • Meanwhile in a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds
  • Add ginger and green chilli and saute.
  • Add capsicum and saute till the moisture disappears.
  • Further add green peas and saute well.
  • Add spinach mint leaves and coriander leaves andsaute well.
  • Add salt turmeric powder and chaat masala and mix well.
  • Transfer into a bowl and allow to cool completely.
  • Then transfer to the blender and blend to coarse paste.
  • Add grated potato breadcrumbs and corn flour and mix well.
  • Greas hands with oil and make a small patties.
  • Cover the patties with breadcrumbs.
  • Now deep fry the prepared patties into hot oil.
  • Fry on medium hot oil, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain the hara bhara kabab onto the kitchen towel.
  • Finally serve hara bhara kabab hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
