  • 1/2 cups uraad daal (black gram lentils)

  • 1/2 cups rice (parboiled)

  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds

  • 4 tbsp semolina

  • 1 pinch salt


  • soak daal n fenugreek seeds for 3 hrs then blend it wid 2 cups of water n add de rest n let it ferment overnite or for 6-7 hrs.
  • batter should be like crepe batter consistency...
  • next mrning use a nonstick dosa tava, keep on flame add 2 serving spoon of batter in the centre of tava n use back of the spoon to spread on circular motion till crepe formed...
  • put little oil on the edges when browning up, use a skillet to loosen up the sides n toss it the other side....
  • can giv a slit till half on the centre n make a cone...
  • remove on platter...
  • serve wid sambhaar n coconut chutney...
