Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Potatoes (wash n peel den slice thinnly n deep fry til crisped up, kip on strainer) 6 nos

  • Chana Daal or Yellow Moong Daal (soak a nite b4, drain n deep fry 1 cups

  • Cashewnuts 1 cups

  • Peanuts 1 cups

  • Poha (flaked rice) 2 cups

  • Curry leaves 10-12 sprig

  • Dried Red Chillies 8 nos

  • Citric Acid (Limbu ka Phool) 1/2 tsp

  • Sugar 2 tsp

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Chilli powder 1 tsp

  • Chaat masala 1 dash

  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  • Fennel Seeds 1 tsp

  • Ghatia: Gram flour/Besan 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Chilli powder 1/2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 pinch

  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp

  • Chaat Masala 1/4 tsp

Directions

    Mix ghatia ingredients wid water to sticky dough

  • 02

    Remuv hlf of it in a bowl, now color it green n the other red

  • 03

    Use one color dough at a time

  • 04

    Use ghatia machine to make ghatias kip on strainer

    Wen cooled dwn break them

  • 06

    Tek a big thhal lay kitchen paper on it

    Pour de fried crisps, daal n ghatia..

    Fry cashewnuts n Peanuts til nice lite brown color, kip on strainer den pour on thhal

    Fry flaked rice n kip on strainer

    Lastly kip of flame in hot oil fry curry leaves, fennel seeds n chillies together til crisped up.

    Put on chevda add spices n toss well.

    Mek sure oil is ol strained on kitchen paper cn change paper too... wen cold kip in airtight container
