Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Chicken 700 gms

  • rice 3 cups

  • red chilli powder 2 tbsp

  • coriander powder 1 tbsp

  • garam masala 1 tbsp

  • cummin powder 1 tbsp

  • biryani masala 1 tbsp

  • ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp

  • curd 1 cups

  • Salt to taste 1 tsp

  • Coriander 1 tsp

  • Mint leaves 5-6 nos

  • Whole green chillies 5-6 nos

  • Fried onion crushed 1-2 nos

  • Oil 1 cups

  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Directions

    In a bowl take chicken and all the ingredients mix and keepit for marination atleast 30 mins.

    Soak rice

    In a big vessel boil the water, in this water add cloves, cardamom.cinnamon, black pepper shahi jeera( royal cummin) juice of lemon salt n drops of oil.

    Let it boil once the water is boiling add soaked rice

  • 05

    Cook till only 80% done. Remaining will cook in dum method ( slow cooking) drain water from rice.

    In a same vessel spread marinated chicken add oil and ghee on this spread the layer of rice. Sprinkle little oil or ghee to moist.

    On top add food colour fried onion, mint n coriander leaves.cover it properly.

    Let it cook on sim for 15-20 mins.

    Once done immediately don't remove the lid. Let it cool for 5-10 mins.
