  • 8-10 nos agati flowers

  • 1 cups gram flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp carrom seeds

  • 1 tsp red chilly powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tbsp oil for frying


  • TO prepare the blooms stamens need to be removed.
  • Wash the petals gently to look for tiny insects and keep them aside.
  • In a bowl mix in all the ingrediets.
  • Add water and mix it well to avoid lumps.
  • Add some water to make a not so thick , no so thin batter.
  • Heat oil in a kadai .
  • Dip flowers in the batter and coat it properly.
  • When oil is hot deep the flowers until golden brown and remove on a tissue paper.
