Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups soaked black chana


  • 1 cups finely chopped onions


  • 1 nos carrot grated


  • 1 tsp ginher garlic paste


  • 1 sprig coriander finely chopped


  • 4 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp chaat masala


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 cups tomatoes finely chopped


  • 1 cups tamarind extract


  • 1 tsp sweet chutney


  • 1 tsp green chutney


  • 1 tsp curd


  • 1 tsp save for garnish

Directions

  • Soak black chana overnight and then cook them for 5 vessels
  • In a pan add 4 tablespoon oil and heat it
  • Then add onions and tomatoes to it and fry them
  • Later add ginger garlic paste and fry a little more
  • Later add 1 cup of soaked and cooked chana and add mash it thoroughly
  • Later add tamarind extract and cook until water evaporates
  • Then add salt, red chilly powder, garam masala, chaat masala and fry it
  • Then take in a serving plate and garnish with onion, grated carrot, sweet chutney, green chutney, coriander, curd and save
  • This must be served hot for good taste😉
