Za’atar Spice Mix

Za’atar mix is a Mediterranean aromatic spice mix popular throughout the middle east and used widely in middle eastern cuisine. Zaatar is prepared easily at home using few herbs and spices; Oregano or Thyme, cumin, Toasted white sesame seeds, toasted coriander seeds, sumac or lemon zest. I have used lemon zest instead of Sumac in this recipe. Recipe reference from one of the shows telecasted on Fox.
