Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 cups (750gms approx) all purpose flour (maida)


  • 2 tsp yeast


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp butter


  • 1 cups paste: milk (n water if paste thickens)


  • 2 tbsp cornflour


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 kgs filling:beef fillet or beef mince


  • 1 pinch salt


  • 1 tsp chilli powder


  • 7 nos garlic cloves (chopped)


  • 1 piece ginger (chopped)


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 nos onion (chopped)


  • 1 nos other ingredients: carrot (grated)


  • 1 nos capsicum (chopped)


  • 1 nos onion (chopped)


  • 3-4 tbsp tomato ketchup


  • 2 tbsp chilli sauce


  • 3 tbsp vinegar


  • 3 tbsp tomato puree

Directions

  • Paste: ..mix cornflour n milk well kip on flame n kip on stirring as it strts boiling add oil.
  • wen its thick liquid like remuv from flame..
  • mix dry ingredients very well add warm cornflour mixture n bind to soft dough..
  • mek sure u bind well not rubbery...
  • den kip in a big bowl n cover wid cling film....
  • let it fully rise punch bek n mould in bun shapes n kip on greased tray, brush wid beaten egg sprinkle sesame....
  • let it fully rise n bake in oven on 200°C til top browned up cn tek 20-30mins....
  • Filling:saute onions in a pressure cooker, in 3 tbsp oil or 2 tbsp butter till browned up, add beef cubes (or mince) n saute til nicely blended, den add water if using beef cubes n cook til tender.
  • remuv lid n chek if derz water, dry it up....
  • let it cool den chop or pound it...
  • now saute tomatoes in a pan in 2 tbsp butter till paste like add de rest of oder ingredients wid chopped meat or mince n cook on high flame to dry up the gravy.
  • NB: can use ready buns, apply butter on top n bake in oven for 5 mins on 220°C...
  • givz u crisped bun...
